1.I upgraded my league, but none of my rosters transferred over. How can I transfer over these players?

Answer: Since most leagues are not keeper/dynasty in nature (also known as redraft leagues), you need to use the Transfer 2018 Rosters to 2019 screen to copy over last season's final rosters.

For keeper leagues, at some point prior to this year's draft or auction, set up the parameters for owners to select keepers and define your keeper deadline. Once owners have used the For Owners > Select Keepers screen to actually specify which players should be kept and the deadline has ended you can process these keepers.

See the Commissioner Tutorials > How do I set up a keeper/dynasty league draft on MyFantasyLeague.com? for more detailed information.

2.Our league had our draft offline. How does each team enter their roster?

Answer: Only the commissioner can enter rosters, using the Load/Unload Rosters screen for all teams.

If you wish to recreate your draft online then please see the Help > Help Center - Draft FAQs to recreate this.

3.New teams are joining our keeper/dynasty league and we need to have an expansion draft prior to our regular draft for these teams. How can we set this up?

Answer: While you are able to archive a draft for your league, if you choose to have both a rookie/vet draft you will not be able to conduct a draft for expansion teams as well.

The easiest solution is to use the Load/Unload Rosters to adjust the rosters for your expansion draft (you can either hold this expansion draft offline or use the message board to record picks). Then proceed with your regular draft as usual.

If you do wish to conduct an online draft for only these few teams and archive it (remember you can only archive 1 draft) you will set up your draft as a normal draft. Since the draft room is designed for all teams to participate, you would need to manually remove all other teams from the draft order round by round. That can be done on the Draft Order Setup - One Round.

4.How do I Edit the Acquired Column on Rosters Report?

Answer: To edit the acquired column on the Rosters Report go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Edit Player Acquired Info. Here you can edit the Column for each franchise by defining/changing the information in the "Override" column.

Note that if you choose to edit this column, the system will carry over this edited information from year to year, and subsequent changes to the player's status (i.e, if the player is drafted in a subsequent season) will not be displayed in this column unless the Override is cleared.

You can manually clear any of the override status options by clearing the field, or to clear all of the fields simply check the box "Clear all manually entered values." Note that this operation can not be undone!

5.What do the Injury designations of I, O, D, Q, P and S mean?

Answer: These are the official five NFL injury codes and they correspond to the following:

I = Injured Reserve. A player with this designation is on the official NFL IR list, or the IR Designated to Return (IR-R) List, the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) List, or the Non-Football Injury (NFI) List.

O = Out (0% chance the player will play in the upcoming week's game)

D = Doubtful (25% chance the player will play in the upcoming week's game)

Q = Questionable (50% chance the player will play in the upcoming week's game)

P = Probable (75% chance the player will play in the upcoming week's game). NOTE: the NFL eliminated the Probable designation at the start of the 2016 season, so it is no longer used on the injury report.

S = Suspended. This option can be enabled on the Injured Reserve Setup screen to allow Suspended players to be deactivated to the IR.

6.How can I export my league reports into Excel? (Or, how do I get my league data into Excel?)

Answer: It's easy to get data from your MyFantasyLeague.com league into Excel following these steps.

1. Go to the web page you'd like to import, and then choose the This Page > Printer Friendly Page menu option. It's important to go to the printer friendly version of the page, and not the full page, to prevent Excel from being confused about the extraneous data on the page.
2. Copy (Control-C) the full web site address (URL) from that web page.
3. From Excel, go to "Data > Import External Data > New Web Query..." or "Data > Get External Data > From Web" option. The actual name of the option depends on what version of Excel you're running.
4. From inside the Excel pop-up window, paste (Control-V) the URL/web page address of the web page you'd like to import.
5. Click on the arrow next to the table in this report that you'd like to import.
6. Click on the import button and voila, your spreadsheet is populated.

The best part about this is that any time you want to refresh the data from the site into your spreadsheet, you only have to click on the "Data > Refresh Data" (or, "Refresh All", depending on your Excel version) option, and your spreadsheet is updated - far easier than either copy/paste or even importing a text file.

For more detailed tips on how this works, please consult Excel's on-line help documentation, available from Excel's Help Menu, or this google search.

NOTE: This feature will not properly work if you choose to be a private league and hide reports/access on the Reports & Security Settings.

8.How do I denote the Restricted Free Agents for our league, For instance put RFA after their name?

Answer: First you must enable salary tracking in the For Commissioner > Setup > General League Setup.

Then, specify the RFA designation in the "Other Contract Information" field found under the For Commissioner > Setup > Enter Players Salaries/Contracts. The Restricted Free Agent information will then appear on the Reports > Franchise > Rosters report.

9.We have roster limits for our teams, if we place a player on IR does that free up a spot to acquire another player to fill that position, or will the roster maximum still be met?

Answer: Fantasy injured reserve spots are not counted against your roster position limits or franchise roster size. When you re-activate a player from the fantasy IR, however, you may need to drop a player from your active roster to free up the position.

10.How do I use the Rosters - Full Format page?

Answer:

This (default view) displays the current roster for each franchise (including IR and taxi squad if defined), injury status, and optionally YTD points, and bye weeks.  Salary cap leagues also display each player's salary, and (optionally) contract year & contract status).

NOTE:  If you are a deluxe league then your Full Roster Report will be separate rosters by Division or Conference based on your settings in the General League Setup.

If you are looking for a free agent pickup not available in any of the free agent lists, check this report to see if the player is already on another team's roster.  Also use this report to help make a trade proposal.  Lastly, click on any player's name to go to his Player Page.

In addition to the 'standard' roster report data, several columns of data can be displayed/hidden based on a league's setup.

Salary, contract year, and contract status can be displayed via the General Salary Cap Setup screen.
Draft, injury, and bye-week status can be displayed via the Reports & Other Settings screen.

For an alternate view, see the rosters report in Grid Format or With Stats Format.

11.We are setting up a playoff league with the same rules, but want different rosters. Can we set up a Live Draft for the Playoff League?

Answer: Yes, assuming that you hold the live draft after week 17 has completed you can run a draft just like a regular season live draft.
Please note however that the ADP automatic draft option is not designed for post-season play and therefore will not currently function while conducting a post-season draft.

12.How do I hide (or display) the Rosters Report?

Answer: To Hide the Rosters for your league you will need to go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Reports & Other Settings and choose to turn off the option to "Display Roster Report".

If you are a Set 'em League and hid your rosters prior to week 18 you can go to this screen to turn back on the option to display Rosters.

13.The "Drafted" column on the rosters report does not match the actual round/pick that each player was drafted this year - why?

Answer: If you take the time to edit the drafted column on the Rosters report, the system assumes that data is important to you, and automatically carries over the prior year edits to the following year. But, if you later decide you don't want to have this information from last year displayed on this year's rosters report, you can do the following:

Go to the Player Acquired Info Setup page, and check the box
Reset Automatic Player Acquired Info On: "When League is upgraded to a new season ".

This will clear out all of last year's drafted data, and force the system to display the drafted data from this year's actual draft results.
